The Blue is the contries that use something almost identical to ours...the Orange use the opposite (since our shortest months are their longest months, and vise versa)

so the majority of the world (particularly around WWII) used it at some time...it was actually Ben Franklin's idea...

thanks Bec...so the red in the image that Bec corrected is the only part of the world that never used Daylight Savings Time...
by the way, what we are in now is the "normal" time...I think that most Americans, while not liking the concept of DST, actually think that the DST is the right time, and what is used during the short months is the Adjusted time

and while Hitman mocks the Americans for using it, we didn't actually start it...the Germans/Austrians/Hungarians started it:
