It's scary where the time goes...One minute, I'm in a Cub Scout meeting talking about the "Freedom Train" and collecting the fresh new Bicentennial quarters; next thing you know I've got grey hair and 3 kids in college...

My random thought for the day...
It's hard to be a manly man with a shaven Pomeranian wearing a powder blue sweater sitting on your lap.

Re: The "check in" thread...volume I
He was bitten and left for dead on the side of the road. He was nursed back to health by the Animal Rescue League and when I was visiting there he jumped up, begging me to pick him up. He licked my face like a puppy and he was "sold" (so to speak). Adopted is the right word.
Now how he got shaven is another story. The groomer the last time shaved him down when we just asked to have his sanitary area around the butt shaved -- language barrier. This time my wife went in with instructions in both English and Spanish printed on a piece of paper. In big letters it said, "DO NOT SHAVE THIS DOG".
Well, the new owner of the place was getting flustered and when the groomer asked what she should do, the owner said, "Just do the same as you did last time."
Needless to say, we were not happy. The settlement is a free grooming session, a free sweater for the poor little guy, and one free grooming again for him and one for each of my other two dogs. Of course, after all the free groomings I'll likely change groomers anyway.

Morning everyone.
Reese, I think I would be changing groomers as well.

Happy Monday, all!
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
I agree about changing groomers, Reese...I wouldn't wait to do it, free grooming or not!
But your post about being a manly man was priceless!

You've been warned -- shaven Pomeranian on display in his naked glory. He kind of looks like a cross between a fox and a lion. What he doesn't look like is a dog, unfortunately:
