Boston checked in on Cabrera and TJ Rivera
I don't think that the Mets would want to give up the guy with several more years of financial control but would probably spring for a first class upgrade on Amtrak to ship Cabrera to Boston.

I'm sure they'll try the "rest and anti-inflammatories" route first, only to concede surgery is necessary after wasting 8-12 weeks. The surgery is popular with pitchers starting with Tommy John. How is it that Collins and Warthen are now doing the same damage to infielders that they wreak on pitchers?
